Discover why West Town is a must-see neighborhood in Chicago.

Today’s community spotlight is special because it’s for my very own neighborhood: West Town, Chicago. There are a lot of things that I love in my neighborhood, and for today, I’ll share with you three of my favorite things about it.

First, it’s a foodie paradise. You can see a variety of restaurants for every taste, and I’m especially proud of the many amazing Filipino restaurants worth going to. Some of them are Kasama Chicago, Uncle Mike’s Place, Mano Modern, and Pinoy Soul Cafe. And if you haven’t tried Filipino food, you’re seriously missing out.

Second, it’s great for families. I love my Walton community, where block parties happen. There’s a strong sense of community, with lots of green spaces for picnics, dog walks, and playtime for kids to burn off their energy. We also have great pools, like Pulaski Park with its splash pad, as well as Eckhart Park and Smith Park.

Third, West Town is welcoming and energetic. Explore unique finds in our eclectic shops, visit local galleries, and talk with friendly faces around town.
